Road to EARC 2008

2008/7/4 Friday

■ One month

Today is July 4th, so there is only one month left for EARC.

Last month, I was really busy about writing EARC BOOK.
But it was finished, so I feel like EARC is really coming soon.

Please pray for EARC and please look forward to EARC.
It maybe hot and high humidity in Japan, so you may need stamina!haha

Well, see you one month later!!

■ EARC is coming soon.

In May 2007, I had a call whether I can work as preparing committee of EARC or not.

I did KGK activity for long time, and there will be EARC next year, so I just thought that I want to do it.  And I decided it while I was praying.

One year had passed since then.

Sometimes, I feel that the preparation is so hard. But God taught me why I am preparing EARC.

Recently, I was making the text of Quiet Time. Through reading Bible to choose the passage and think about the daily concept, God taught me many things and I really repented.

In EARC, 400 brothers and sisters from East Asia will do such experience. God will make “us” repent much deeper than I did, and then the “rebuilding” of the East Asia begins.

God noticed me so.

We are preparing for EARC, and praying for it. Sometime that is hard, and we are really busy now. So please pray for us.

The day that students from East Asia will stand up together and say “Let us start rebuilding” is, coming soon.

■ Nehemiah!

Hi! This is Yoshiki Tsukamoto, member of Program Committee.
I also belong to Central Committee of KGK Kanto Region.

Yesterday, I went to the Makiko(KGK staff)’s house with committee members. We could have wonderful time.

The picture above is what we ate. (Makiko made them)
Before we ate lunch, we did Bible Study about Nehemiah chapter 2.

That was really good time for me.
This year, I read and though about Nehemiah many times. I learned about Nehemiah at Bible Study, and in spring camp. But each time, God teach me new things.
I am looking forward to learn about Nehemiah, in EARC, with brothers and sisters in East Asia!

Please pray for the preparation!
May God bless all of your ministries on campus!

Love in Christ,

■ EARC is coming!

Hello, my name is Yoshiki Tsukamoto, 4th year student at International Christian University, Tokyo.
I am part of EARC Program Committee.

I joined World Assembly in Toronto last summer, and I met some of you guys.
That was great time for me.
I met many people who have different background. And shared what I experienced in Japan, and prayed together. We sang worship together, and I learned many things there.
I thank God that he planned to send me to World Assembly, and I thank KGKers that they also sent me there.

In 2008, EARC is coming.
I thank God that I am a student now. I thank God that I can meet brothers and sisters from East Asia.
I thank God that he has great plan for us.

From March 11 to 15, we KGK Kanto region will have retreat. There, we will learn Nehemiah. Theme is “All ways ~The Setting Sun after Rebuilding~”.
Please pray for our retreat.
We are looking forward you to come!

In Chirst,
Yoshiki Tsukamoto
